Meet our Grassroot Manager & Coaches
This is the next instalment to introducing our Youth team, who volunteer at the community group Wimborne Town Youth group - affiliated to Wimborne Town Football Club.
Meet.. Andy Munnings.
Manager & Coach for Wimborne Town U-12's Girl's Magpies at WTFC Grassroots Youth Section
“For us, it's all about fun and learning.”
Following the success of the Wimborne Town U11’s Girl's team, a new team was formed in July 2022, allowing a greater number of girls to learn and play the sport they love. Some of the team have been part of the Wimborne Youth set up for 5 years, whilst others have been with us for less than 5 months.
The new team have gelled wonderfully and the hard work at training and on matchday is beginning to come to fruition.
Coaches Andy, Tom and Scott consider themselves very lucky to have such an amazing set of players and they are looking forward to the season ahead, and beyond, as they work towards 11 a-side football next year. All girls are welcome at the Magpies, regardless of level or experience. For us, it's all about fun and learning.
