Meet our Grassroot Manager & Coaches
This is the next instalment to introducing our Youth team, who volunteer at the community group Wimborne Town Youth group - affiliated to Wimborne Town Football Club.
Meet.. Mark Berry.
U-13s Manager & Coach for Wimborne Raiders at WTFC Grassroots Youth Section
“The best thing about coaching is the smiles on the boys faces.
Having fun, and a bit of banter, is what’s it’s all about! ”
Raiders were formed last season (2022) and we had a great foundation year. We are a friendly team where many of the parents all contribute to the successes. Ambitions are to develop all the players, promote positivity and enjoyment, and climb the divisions.
Previously, I’ve only ever coached a men’s team with fitness and stamina drills, so this has all been a great learning experience!
The best thing about coaching is the smiles on the boys faces. Having fun, and a bit of banter, is what’s it’s all about!
